Promotional description

Have you ever wondered how Gestalt might be relevant to you and your work in organisations? Do you play a role in supporting people to navigate relentless uncertainty, unpredictability and the impossibility of a predetermined change outcome (like a global pandemic!)? In this interactive, experiential and immersive workshop, you will be practising and experimenting with approaches that will enhance your awareness of what it means to embody Gestalt principles and practices in the context of significant global change.

This isn’t your typical workshop; from the start, you will learn how a Gestalt way of being can transform relationships, the quality of leadership decision-making and the capacity for both individual and collective 'thriving' (not just 'surviving') major disruptive change. You will emerge with a newfound sense of the immense value of taking a relational approach to leading change in the workplace: how you can support your organisation and people as we navigate the complex challenges, changes and opportunities that await us in this ‘new normal’ world.

We look forward to you joining us.
Kerryn, Sofie and Steven

Learning outcomes

This workshop will introduce key Gestalt lenses (principles) with the opportunity for participants to explore how a relational approach to leading transformative change in organisations works in practice. At the conclusion of this event, attendees will be able to:

1. Understand how a paradigm shift towards relationally attending to the complexity of people´s interconnectedness through organisational change (in circumstances like a global pandemic) can enable transformative and sustainable shifts.
2. Put into practice three fundamental Gestalt principles in the workplace:
- Phenomenology
- Dialogue
- Context
3. Reflect on a 'lived experience' in feeling psychologically safe to relationally support people through major, disruptive global change in organisations.
4. Build confidence to experiment with bringing relevant aspects of the Gestalt relational approach into their workplace in the context of leading transformative change.
