This presentation will outline the implementation and evaluation of a three-staged approach to cognitive screening and assessment that was both informed by evidence-based practice and feasible to implement across a multiple-site, geographically diverse drug and alcohol health service in New South Wales. Overall, this process was identified as valuable by frontline clinicians. Individuals received drug and alcohol treatment tailored to better suit their cognitive needs, regardless of geographical location. Feasibility, acceptability, key learnings and outcomes are discussed.
