In this presentation, an emerging approach to clinical practice known as psychoanalytic neuropsychology will be critiqued with respect to its scientific basis. Psychoanalytic neuropsychology seeks to integrate the history of psychoanalysis with the discoveries of clinical neuroscience, to complete Freud's 'Project.' The approach caries with it novel jargon, the derivation of which many younger colleagues may not appreciate.
