Biography

Dean’s work focuses on optimising human performance in sports and performance domains. Drawing from his expertise in sports psychology, Dean adopts a holistic approach that enables him to work with teams, individuals and broader performance systems to help them achieve their goals. Through publications in the Psychology of Sport & Exercise (Journal) and Routledge Handbook of Applied Sport Psychology, he has emphasised the importance of Identity and Conflict in enhancing athletic performance and overall well-being. Dean’s work also extends to non-athlete populations where he works with a range of mental health presentations in adolescents and adults.

Glen Hosking is Associate Professor of Psychology at La Trobe University. He is the co-orindator of the Master of Clinical Psychology program and Acting Co-ordinator of the Master of Professional Psychology program. Glen has over 20 years experience working as a Clinical Psychologist, academic and researcher.

Biography

I have worked in schools since 2005, completing my Masters of Educational Psychology in 2005. I was approved as a supervisor by AHPRA in 2013 and gained Educational and Developmental endorsement in 2017. Since this time I have continued to supervise provisional psychologists, Educational and Developmental registrars and early career school psychologists. I also provide assessment supervision to Clinical Psychology Masters students. In addition to my school-based role, I work in private practice, conducting cognitive and educational assessments. I am a current National Committee member of the CEDP, holding the portfolio of Practice and Supervision.

Biography

Aneta is a registered and endorsed clinical and health psychologist and an AHPRA board approved supervisor in clinical and health psychology. With a Doctorate in Psychology from the University of Melbourne, she has over 15 years of experience practising in both private and public health care and rehabilitation. She leads a professional, growing, and diverse psychology practice at Myndful Psychology. Aneta is trained in EMDR and Schema Therapy and has expertise in Complex Trauma and PTSD, Mood & Anxiety disorders, chronic pain and adjustment to medical illness, life change and somatic issues. Aneta regularly works with clients in the health industry including GPs, emergency services (doctors, nurses and paramedics), health care professionals, executives, and business owners.

Biography

Dr. Ruth Tesselaar is a Clinical Neuropsychologist with over 14 years experience. As a Neuropsychologist, she has worked in a variety of settings and in a diverse range of roles. While completing neuropsychology assessments is often seen as the main role of Neuropsychologists (and one Ruth has done for 13 years), Ruth has also specialised in providing community-based supports to neuro-diverse adults and children. This has included providing behaviour interventions to people with a brain injury, and psychoeducation and executive function support to neuro-diverse children and their parents. Using her skills and knowledge from her experience as a Neuropsychologist, Ruth has also been a lecturer as part of a Psychology Masters course, and lead a multidisciplinary team within a hospital setting.

Biography

Silvia is a Counselling Psychologist and Board Approved Supervisor who has practised in Mexico and Australia. She has proven experience in clinical excellence, operational management and clinical supervision in the non-for-profit sector where she has spent most of her career working with drug and alcohol clients who have co-occurring conditions. She strives to decrease systems barriers to ensure integrated care. Silvia also has a key interest in perinatal mental health. She is passionate about supervision and development of sustainable practices for the new generation of Psychologists.
