Abstract

The aim of this presentation is as follows:

* To highlight the current research on psychotherapy outcomes and the ever increasing need to provide evidence of quantifiable client outcomes.

*To highlight the current research on "what does and does not work in psychotherapy"

*To highlight the problems associated with self assessment bias in psychotherapy

* To present a potential best practice solution through the use of new digital platforms and tools that can assist psychologists to measure and track the psychotherapeutic progress and outcomes using established real time evidence based quantitative psychometrics with qualitative digital feedback measures.

* To present information on new digital platforms (Sensei technology) that systematically captures real time biometric data such as Sleep and Stress (as measured by Heart Rate Variability - HRV) which can be used to compliment and enhance psychotherapy outcomes and client well being.

* The presentation will include a real time demonstration of the Sensei "client feedback" platform to attendees who are able to access the system through their mobile phones if they choose.
