Explores key insights from research comparing the performance of female and male leaders on personality and multi-rater assessments. Information and recommendations on how to more effectively support the selection and development of leadership talent within organisations is provided based on similarities and differences found between female and male leaders. This includes recommendations on how to leverage the insights obtained as part of leadership development programs and interventions including those specifically targeting women in leadership.

Learning outcomes

- Understand similarities and differences between females and male leaders in their performance on personality and multi-rater assessments including in relation to their day-to-day personality tendencies, derailment tendencies, motivators, and leadership competencies.
- Build an understanding of how to apply key insights from the research to enhance the selection and development of leadership talent in organisations including as part of leadership development programs and interventions that target specific groups such as women in leadership.
