The presenter will describe the findings of their quantitative cross-sectional study examining rates of regretted, and unwanted sexual experiences among individuals Assigned a Female Gender at Birth (AFGB) based on their reported gender identity and sexual orientation. Comparisons were drawn between individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorder, and typically developing individuals AFGB.
Biography
Laura is currently undertaking her PhD in Psychology at Deakin University. Laura's thesis is investigating the sexuality and sexual experiences of adults with autism, particularly those AFAB. Laura's research interests include developmental conditions, sexual functioning and romantic relationship experiences.
